CloudCrowd Workforce Hits 15,000
CloudCrowd announced today that more than 15,000 workers have now installed its CloudCrowd Workspace application at Facebook. CloudCrowd's rapid growth can be attributed solely to referrals from one worker to another. Workers who want to tell others about CloudCrowd can refer their Facebook friends to work directly from the application, or can post a CloudCrowd referral link on a blog or website.
"Growing our workforce this quickly speaks to the good experience workers are having at CloudCrowd," said CEO Alex Edelstein, "We're providing consistent work and paying people just one business day after their work is approved."
Workers come to CloudCrowd for a variety of reasons. One physically challenged worker has a Master's degree in English but is unable to work in a traditional job. Another worker is an attorney taking "work breaks" instead of smoke breaks, and saving for a trip to Paris.
