  • What is CloudCrowd?

CloudCrowd helps companies complete tasks-- more than 20,000 workers are ready to take on your tasks via the internet at our proprietary CloudCrowd Workspace. When you work with us, we manage everything, from creating the most efficient way to get your tasks done, to delivering your finished work.

  • What is Crowdsourcing?

Crowdsourcing is the process of sending work to a group of people and having those people complete the task.

  • How is this different than Outsourcing?

When you outsource your work, the firm you hire still needs to pay all the costs associated with managing a team of workers. Because individuals who are part of our crowd work remotely, we further reduce costs.

  • Why Should I Use It?

With CloudCrowd, you'll save money, and get your work done more quickly than if you did it in-house.

  • How Does it Work?

We start by figuring out the most efficient way to get your work done, based on sample work you supply. We distribute your sample work to our crowd, have additional workers check it for accuracy, and come back to you with results for your approval, along with a quote. Once you approve the quote, you send us your work, and can start getting completed tasks back within hours.

  • How Fast is Your Service?

Once we engineer the process for your work, your tasks are completed as they come to us. With a workforce of thousands, each doing a portion of your project, your work can be completed much more quickly than it would be done in-house, or even with traditional outsourcing.

  • How Can Crowdsourcing Help Me Become An Asset To My Company?

By implementing our technology in your department, you save your company money. You will be on the forefront of a paradigm shift, learning how to manage this new technology.

  • How Do You Assure Quality?

We start by testing workers using check tasks with known responses. Workers must complete check tasks correctly in order to continue working on your tasks. Work can also be cross-checked by other trusted workers, allowing workers to earn a Credibility score based on the long term accuracy of their work. Those workers who don't complete tasks to our high standards are weeded out. We can also limit certain projects to those workers who have earned a specific credential. If our existing credentials don't map to your project we can create a custom credential that meets your needs.

  • How Much Money Should I Expect To Save?

Some of our clients have cut their costs in half while getting their work done more quickly.

  • Who Can Join The Crowd?

Anyone can join the crowd, but workers who fail to deliver work to our high standards are quickly weeded out.

  • What Is Piece Work?

Workers who complete piecework are paid for each unit of work completed. Productive workers are rewarded for their efforts.

  • What If I Already Use Mechanical Turk?

Mechanical Turk was originally built to handle very specific tasks for Amazon's internal product management team and was never intended to be used by outside parties. As such, it is still stuck in 2005 as a Crowdsourcing 1.0 solution.
CloudCrowd is Crowdsourcing 2.0 solution. You'll find that the frustrations and limitations you face on Mechanical Turk won't be an issue when you bring your project to CloudCrowd. We manage the entire process, and design your project from start to finish. Our engineers specialize in process optimization and you can reassign the managers and developers working on your Mechanical Turk solutions to more important parts of your company.

  • How Do You Keep My Data Safe?

Because we break your data into chunks and present it to our workers in a random order, only a small portion of your project is likely to be seen by any particular worker. Workers are required to sign an agreement not to use your data for anything other than the purpose of doing your work, adding an additional layer of protection.

  • How Much Does It Cost?

Costs vary depending on the type of work, but tasks can typically be completed at a price that's a fraction of what it cost if done in-house. For a free trial and a no cost, no commitment quote based on your specific work, sign up today.
